Two injured in a grenade attack at a cafe in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU (Sh.M.Nrtwork) —Two people seriously injured in a grenade attack at a packed coffee bar in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu on Saturday night.

Most of the victims were said to be civilian people from nearby villages in Hodon district, who came to the place for entertainment. The injured people were taken to Madina hospital in Mogadishu for treatment.

The attackers hurled two hand grenades into a packed café, where the group was sipping tea and watching films, according eyewitnesses who talked to Shabelle Media Network.

No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
