BELEDWEYNE (Sh. M. Network) –Heavy fighting raged on swathes of Somalia’s central region of Hiran, killing undisclosed number of figures, among them woman and children, reports said.

Sunday’s tribal clashes broke out at Kabxanley village, just some 30 Kilometers, west of Beledweyne town, the capital of Hiran region. Both heavily armed clan militias fought over the ownership of farming land in the area, according to the local residents.

The situation remained tense as the two clans are sending fresh reinforcement to the battle zones, forcing hundreds of residents to flee their houses.
