MOGADISHU (Sh.M.Network)—Suldan Ahmed Farah Sa’ed, the Spokesman of Somalia’s presidential palace, villa Somalia has denied that the president named Tuesday Mohamed Abdullahi Faramjo as the new prime minster of Somalia.
“I totally disagree with the rumors circulated in the public about the appointment of new PM of the country—it is false and baseless that the president has appointed Mahamed Abdullahi Farmajo as Somalia’s new prime minister,” the spokesman said during interview with Shabelle Media Network.
The remarks followed after huge supporters took to the streets in the capital and soldiers opened celebratory fire into the air to welcome the appointment Mahamed Abdullahi Farmajo, former TFG premier as the new Prime minister of Somalia for the second time.
However, the presidential office strongly denied the president making such appointment today.
