Mogadishu 24 Dec 12 (Shabelle)— Somali federal government has issued a warning that weather storms may hit many coastal areas in the country.
After a cabinet meeting inMogadishu, the government has called all communities living on the coasts to be vigilant as weather forecasts predict that storms may hit Somali coast tomorrow.
Somali interior minister Abdikarin Hussien Guled who spoke to the media after the concluded its meeting also talked a lot of other issues including the security situation in the capital.
Mr Guled told that the government has intelligence sources indicating that remnants of Alshabab are amassing in Dayniile district and on the banks of Shabelle river planning violent conspiracies in the capital city.
But the minister said that the government has already plans in place to prevent such conspiracies.
