Somalia: ASWJ, Galmudug state ink security agreement

MOGADISHU (Sh.M.Network)—Officials representing Galmudug state and pro-government Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a administration have reached a memorandum of understanding agreement about the security in Mogadishu on Friday.

Sheikh Mohamed Yusuf Hefow, the chief of ASWJ’s decision-making council said that both administrations have common interest and willing to tighten the security in the central areas they govern and tackle insecurity acts.

For his part, Abdullah Salad, senior Galmudug official told reporters in Mogadishu that security was their top agenda and reached several more issues to boost the bilateral relationship between ASWJ and Galmudug state of Somalia.
