Adado (Shabelle) — Somali Prime Minister, accompanied by some of his cabinet ministers, have reached Adado town in Galgadud province in central Somalia where they have been welcomed by the local leaders and community.
The Prime minister and his delegation were received at Adado airport by leaders of Hiam and Heeb, a provincial authority that controls Adado and its surrounding areas.
Mr Abdifarah Shirdoon is on a tour in central Somalia where government loyalists control.
Security in and around Adado has been tightened with the deployment of AU and government forces into the streets of the town.
The Prime Minister’s visit to Adado has been preceded by visits he paid to Dhuso Mareeb and Abudwaaq, two major towns in Galgadud.
