MP accuses Kenyan army and Ras Kamboni fighters of harassing people in Kismayo

MOGADISHU ( Sh.M..Network ) –A lawmaker in Somali parliament has accused Kenyan military serving under AMISOM and Ras Kamboni fighters of committing crimes against humanity in Kismayo city.

MP Abdullahi Husein Ali said while giving an exclusive interview with Shabelle Media in Mogadishu Ras Kamboni private army led by Sheikh Ahmed Madobe backed by Kenyan troops are responsible the ongoing robbery and insecurity in Kismayo.

Mr. Hussein urged Somali government officials,naming president Hassan Sheikh Mohamud to act swiftly to intervene in the current uncertainty situation and prevent the allied forces from harassing residents in Kismayo. He warned of clan fighting, ensuing unrest.

Kismayo, a port city located just 500 Km south of Mogadishu has witnessed string of attacks and deadly blasts since the Somali and Kenyan forces moved in last month after Al shabab pulled out of the city.
