GALINSOR (Sh.M.Network) —Unknown Armed groups have killed on Saturday two herdsmen in Somalia’s central town of Galinsor in Galgadud region, reports said.
Witnesses said at least five men armed with AK-47 rifles have attacked a livestock community keeping cattle in a rural area near the town on Saturday and killed two.
“After carrying out the systematic murder they escaped from the scene uncaught and the motive behind the killing is yet unclear,” a witness said.
Such executions and ethnic tensions have been on the rise in central Somalia for the last few months and the local elders are struggling to put off the bloodshed and community crisis.
