MOGADISHU (Sh.M.Network)—Heavy gun battle has erupted on Sunday in Somali capital Mogadishu as the federal MPs struggling to approve the newly formed 10-member cabinet ministers, proposed by Abdi Farah Shirdon, Somali PM.
Eyewitnesses said the violence sparked when government soldiers exchanged gun-fire at KM4 junction, a busy crossroad in the heart of Mogadishu, accusing unconfirmed losses. The skirmish caused over unknown circumstances.
Authorities in Mogadishu are yet to comment on the clashes.
