Baladweyne (Sh. M. Network) —An Official in Somali government says at least two people were killed and more than that number injured in a roadside bomb blast exploded at the entrance of Beledweyne, central Somalia.
Ahmed Osman Ahmed, the deputy governor of Hiiraan region for TFG, told Shabelle Media by phone that the dead and injured people were local civilians who were nearby the bomb site. He accused Al shabab of being behind the attack.
No one or group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
Tensions were very high in the town, and many security personnel lined the streets, restricting the movements of residents and vehicles for a while after the attack.
