MOGADISHU(Sh. M. Network) — An explosion at a bus station inSomalia’s capital, killed at least three people and wounded many others on Thursday lunchtime, with some still in critical condition, Witnesses said.
Witnesses at the bus station in Suuqa-Hoolaha vicinity, north of Mogadishu said a grenade was thrown into a crowd, killing three civilians and injuring a soldier.
Somali security forces cordoned off the area where Bystanders helped carry the wounded to ambulances. The attackers have reportedly escaped from the area before the troops arrived.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility, but the Kenyan capital was hit by grenade attacks in August after Al shabab militant’s withdrawal.
